From the Timucuan Federation in Jacksonville. We cordially invite you to attend our annual Statewide Pow Wow. This event will be held in the Historical Suwannee River County at Spirit of the Suwannee located in Live Oak, FL. The Pow Wow will be March 6th-9th. All are welcome. "Back to the Past" is our theme for the event and we will have many events for the family to enjoy Traditional Native American performances will be some of our activities. We will also have vendors set up for buffalo meat (bbq, etc).This year we would like to welcome back all alumni Indian Guides and Princesses. Sacred Fire Ceremony will be held Friday night so please come early as you will not want to miss it. We will also be performing a Broken Arrow ceremony for anyone that wishes to break arrow. Arrows will be available for purchase at registration. I apologize but Paypal has not been approved from our YMCA therefore please follow the instructions on the registration form for payment information. For all of you Golf -a-Holics, we would like to gather interest in holding a golf outing on March 6th (Thursday). If you are interested, please contact our Registration Chief - Flaming Arrow at: bpquirk@bellsouth.net. We will be hosting a Trailblazer Clinic for the older kids on Friday and Saturday. The Spirit of the Suwannee offers great fun for the family. They have horseback riding, canoe rental, and golf cart trails available.
