Trailer Ride--Yeehaw!!!


The Creek Tribe took a journey outside the usual Canaveral tribal hunting grounds to enjoy some good Florida Fun for the Little Braves!! We headed to Yeehaw Junction for a day trip which featured safe shooting practice on the outdoor range, a nature trailer ride, and a cookout in the oak hammock. The tribal little braves included: Alex and Chris Kontos, Skylar Gay, RJ Byrd, Paul Brophy, and Dylan and Ryan Pletcher. We were joined by some guest braves as well: Jan and Avery. Yeehaw Junction FUNCTION! April 29th


The tribe has been invited to Yeehaw Junction on Sunday the 29th of April for some Good Florida Fun. Schedule of events includes target practice at the range, (our host is the range master), some 4 wheeling through the forest, and a cookout at the host's teepee. This is a great day trip, and will be alot of fun for the Little Braves

April Campout 13th-15th

Canaveral Nation Y-Indian Guides Mighty Creek tribe will camp at KARS Park the weekend of the 13th-15th of April. This special campout honors our little braves who will be "aging-out" at the "Broken Arrow" ceremony. Swift Eagle, and Red Cloud will be aging out. If any of our little braves wish to participate (in the Broken Arrow ceremony ?RJ, ?Tyler, Beuhler, Buehler?), we must notify the Nation post haste.

A brief schedule of events follows:

Saturday
10:00 Chiefs meeting @ Navajo
11:00 Aging out practice for little/big braves participating in ceremony, pizza and ice cream included
12:30 Opening Ceremony
1:30 War Games
4:00 Judging (campsites)
8:00 Fire Walk

Sunday
10:00 closing Ceremony

This campout will have the usual events including the long run, and 3 other war games sponsored by 3 tribes.
